Pierlite was established in Australia in the 1940’s and originally manufactured Pier Lights as its name suggests. The company’s focus later turned to hazardous and adverse location luminaires and over the coming years its product range diversified substantially. In the late 1980’s the company was acquired by the Gerard group.
With the Gerard family at the helm, Pierlite has grown to become the market leader in Australia, and with its recent acquisition of the LCL group, Pierlite is now the dominant lighting company of Australasia.
Pierlite’s vigorous growth in its domestic market is now being matched by its global ambitions; with offices in 14 countries covering four continents making Pierlite a truly global company.

The manufacturing facility based at Ahmedabad is spread over 22,000 sq. meters of land.
